THE BAUMIT FAÇADE OF THE YEAR
The Baumit Life Challenge recognises and rewards the best façades in Europe.
Stand out Baumit projects from across 26 countries are collated and judged by a professional jury as well as a public vote. All the winners will be announced at a sparkling awards ceremony in Valencia in September. For more information the Life Challenge website here.
In December 2019, we launched the UK Facade Challenge where 9 exceptional projects were voted as winners. These projects have now been entered into the Baumit Life Challenge and will be competing against facades from across Europe.

How the winners are selected
More than 300 projects are judged by a high caliber panel of 13 independent experts before the final. The 6 highest-rated façades in each category will be qualified as nominees for the final prize giving ceremony. Right before the event the jury panel will choose the final winners in each category as well as the ultimate Life Challenge Award winner – the very best of the best facades.
