Kintergarden. PCTCAN. Santander. Spain. The building is a perfect prism, somehow abstracted from its surroundings to once inside, constitute a small new universe for children. The volume includes the outdoor spaces, and is thus presented as a well defined object. The volumetric sharpness shown from the outside disintegrates once inside. The classrooms, rest room, office for management, and kitchen, are independent elements, whose arrangement in the space configure the prismatic box. These elements that require privacy, surround the spaces of relationship, flooded by the light coming from the patios, which are the heart of the kintergarden. The image of the building materializes with the high quality offered by the BAUMIT FineTop thin layer finish plaster, framing the perforated, molded and enameled gold-colored aluminum panels that star the facades and interior spaces.
