Winter Park Residence is located in the most attractive location on the Bjelašnica mountain with an open view of the Babin Do ski center, the venue of the 14th Winter Olympic Games in 1984. The architectural approach sought to reshape the intended volume into smaller, harmonious units that would fit harmoniously into the already existing architectural context, additionally shaping the building to reflect the character of mountain architecture, given the specificity of the location. By using high-quality and modern materials both in the interior and on the facade envelope, we tried to present natural materials (stone, wood, glass, etc.) in the tones of the mountain spirit through the prism of modernism by highlighting the contours with other materials such as aluminum, steel, and concrete.
