Social institution with distinctive aesthetic features
Owing to its considerable structural defects and inadequate functional suitability, a comprehensive reconstruction of the educational institution was carried out. Alongside the necessary energy criteria, the project is distinguished by its architectural design and sophisticated combination of materials. An ETICS façade on the rear of the building was combined with a plaster façade on the front. The brushed rendering technique selected extends over the entire surface of the façade, giving the functional building a particular flair - which is also enhanced by the modern colour scheme. A further highlight, which is not just visual, was achieved by the windowsills made of glass fibre concrete, as well as the two coats of paint applied to the façade, in which “spikes” are created in the upper surface by using a hard roller.
