Our project stands out for its innovative use of Baumit products. Despite the challenges inherent in such projects, our team overcame obstacles with strategic planning and execution. The seamless integration of insulation materials and the meticulous application of Baumit finishes resulted in a cohesive and visually striking outcome. To further boost the thermal performance of the property, the existing 100mm cavity was filled with mineral wool. The 50mm EPS board was strategically used to complement the mineral wool, working in synergy to improve the overall U-value of the building envelope. The thermal renovation significantly improved the building's energy efficiency, with a noticeable reduction in heating and cooling costs. By utilising Baumit's products and optimising the insulation strategy, we not only met but exceeded energy efficiency standards, contributing to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly living space.

W1201 Mineral White Silicon Top: This premium exterior finish provided a durable and weather-resistant coating, ensuring long-lasting protection against the elements. Baumit Star Contact White: The Star Contact adhesive played a crucial role in securing insulation materials to the existing structure, forming a solid foundation for the renovation. Star Tex Fine: star Tex Fine, a fibreglass mesh, was strategically bedded into the Star Contact White basecoat to improve the overall system's strength, ensuring durability and longevity. Premium Primer: The Premium Primer, applied to the base coat (Star Contact White), served as a crucial step in preparing the system for the topcoat application. 50mm EPS Board: The incorporation of 50mm Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) insulation significantly improved the thermal resistance of the building envelope, reducing heat loss and enhancing energy efficiency. XPS Board: The addition Extruded Polystyrene (XPS) insulation further optimised thermal performance.
